So this weekend I hit up Brooklyn Flea with my bf. I don't know what it is about being surrounded by old things, that just makes my little heart flutter. I have been to the Fort Greene location before, it is quite different from the Sunday location. Fort Green has a wider variety of vintage finds and artisan made peices. While Williamsburg has a larger variety of food vendors and unique vintage/hand-made furniture. They had a ton of really beautiful pieces. Ah, if only I was rich - my house would be stocked with one of a kind furniture peices. Support your local artists, lol. Besides the furniture, the Williamsburg location is waterfront, so obviously - the view was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I just love being able to sit and relax in front of any body of water. :) I thought I'd mention - the sickest part about the Williamsburg location? I FOUND NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK PLAYING CARDS! My inner 12year old was unleashed for just a few moments. We also passed by Artists & Fleas, but it was a LITTLE too crowded for my liking. It was hot as hell inside there, but I have to admit - there was a lot of really great hand-made jewelry. I love any excuse to hang out in Brooklyn. So much culture, so much graffiti, so much LIFE!
